There is lots to do in the vicinity of this villa in the Luberon – visit the Pope’s Palace in Avignon which is only fifteen kilometres away. If you like the music, then you’ll enjoy the lyrical arts festival in Orange or piano festival in Roque d’Anthéron. The region abounds with beautiful little villages. Must-sees include Gordes, Oppède le Vieux, Roussillon and Ménerbes. Wine lovers will head over to Châteauneuf-du-Pape which is not far at all from your holiday home. For something more active, there is a golf course ten minutes’ away in Védène and a horse racing course in Châteauneuf-de-Gadane. The river Sorgues runs through the region, so you can enjoy canoeing in Isle-sur-la-Sorgue, or Fontaine-de-Vaucluse, or try your hand at trout fishing in Lagnes.
