This luxury rental villa in Spain is like a living museum. The owners are interior designers and designed the home with their favourite items picked up from numerous trips. By combining paintings, sculptures and unique objects, they have created a harmonious and sophisticated interior. La Préciosa is an invitation to discover or rediscover known or imaginary cultures, to experiment with the Spanish and Italian way of life or even those of more distant lands. The Italian influence is however the most represented here. Its structure with a large interior courtyard is inspired by villas from the Roman period, the purple plaster makes it The décor is largely inspired by Baroque, the artistic and architectural movement born in the 17th century in Italy, identifiable through the abundance of decoration.
From the exterior, the imposing, Sienna-coloured building, the columns and mouldings immerse you into the Roman style. The villa’s 500m2 space revolves around a magnificent central patio like in the days of Pompeii.
Inside, each room is richly and exquisitely decorated from top to bottom.
The principles of Baroque are widely represented here: mix of colours and materials, play with shadow and light, frescos, crafted ceilings, attention to detail... In each room, furniture, chandeliers, lamps, rugs, cushions, wall coverings, paintings, sculptures and artefacts, nothing is left to chance.
The layout of this Mediterranean rental follows the same rules: a large and majestic entrance welcomes you, consistent with the theatrical architecture which is characteristic of the Baroque style. The living areas include no less than three lounges. One of which has a piano, another has a magnificent library. The central lounge opens onto a large gallery adorned with bougainvillea and exotic species, a wonderful view over the Altea bay. The fully equipped kitchen is maybe the most Spanish room. From one end it accesses a large 60m2 dining room and a patio with a pool-side barbecue from the other end.
The property’s five suites are air-conditioned and offer personalised décor. The exotic touch is more prominent with the statues of Indonesian newlyweds and the animal or floral motifs.
Each one has its private bathroom.
Three bedrooms are located around the downstairs patio, the two others upstairs are accessible via two majestic staircases.
The downstairs patio and the numerous exterior relaxation areas allow you to enjoy the Mediterranean way of life all while enjoying the view of the Altea bay. This rental villa in Costa Blanca is perfectly located, near a well-known, beautiful village with a rich past and close to the beaches.

Altea is a charming ancient village as well as a very popular seaside resort.
Here too, art is very present and the old town has been named a place of cultural interest for its wall paintings and its numerous art galleries. A large number of artists have adopted the city for its light and colours
A visit to the heights of the old town is enchanting. A special, very peaceful atmosphere prevails. Cobblestone streets, a magnificent central square, white-washed houses, beautiful historical monuments, typically Mediterranean plant life, all overlooking the sea and the surrounding mountains... Enjoy a stroll to the Nuestra Señora del Consuelo church with its blue and white domes, towering over the village. Craft boutiques and restaurants serving Mediterranean specialities are numerous along the streets and squares.
The Altea old town is located just 1.5 kilometres away from your luxury rental.
Altea is also known for its beaches and the quality of the bathing waters.
The closest beach is located three kilometres away from your rental. It’s not a fine sandy beach but it is very popular due to its clear waters, the view of Penon d’Ifach, this 300 metre high rock which you can see from the villa, and the water sports on offer: kitesurfing, windsurfing, kayaking, paddle boarding, diving...
To immerse yourself even more in the region, why not treat yourself to a cruise in the blue Mediterranean waters from the Marina de Campomanes which offers several boating services. There’s also a promenade where you can admire the yachts in the harbour. Finally, you can enjoy lunch or dinner there.
For golf lovers, the villa is located near the Don Cayo Golf club.
