Terra Mitica – this theme park is one of the most popular in the region. It has several rollercoasters, but also shows and themed areas that will take you on a journey through the history of the Mediterranean. Prepare yourself to cross paths with Roman gladiators and pharaohs !
Las Naciones park – This park spreads out over a large area in the urban area of Torrevieja. A retreat, a lake, and cisterns from the old farm make up a refreshing mix of water and greenery. Nearby you can also take a dive in the natural swimming pools of the Algar waterfalls.
Peñón de Ifach – Located in Calpe, this imposing rocky outcrop is one of the symbols of the region. At 332 metres high, it can be seen from the land as well as from the sea. It’s the centre of several hiking trails, and from the top you can even see Ibiza in the distance. There are many birds nesting in the crevices, and several species of wild plants that emerge at its base.
The Guadalest museums – The town of Guadalest isn’t very big but it has one of the most beautiful views of the region and is packed with museums: on doll houses, historical vehicles, torture, and miniatures and more.
