Villa Couleurs Bretagne is a villa to rent in North Brittany with a breathtaking view of the sea. Fill up on fresh air on the rugged Brittany coast, where the landscape and the days are determined by the tide. The blue of the sea contrasts with the greenery that surround the house to form an invigorating capsule of wilderness.
The cottage blends into the natural environment with its wooden façade and typically Breton double-sloped slate roof. The same natural materials are used for the two wooden terraces and the slate path between them. The rear terrace is ideal for outdoor dining in peace, while the front terrace offers spectacular views of the sea.
Inside, the view remains the central attraction and can be admired from every room in the house – even the upstairs bathroom. Large picture windows frame the landscape beautifully and let in light from both sides. The décor is soft and soothing, with furniture, walls and floors in natural hues with an occasional pop of colour. Pale wood, wicker, and beige and blue furnishings are in keeping with the seaside setting.
The ground floor comprises a large living room with a wall-to-wall sea view, a dining area for six guests overlooking the garden and an open-plan kitchen with top-of-the-range equipment. The lounge and kitchen also open onto the large beachfront terrace. The ground floor is completed by an en-suite bedroom decorated in nautical tones and sliding doors that open out onto the sea-facing terrace.
Upstairs, there are two further bedrooms, each with its own bathroom; one en-suite, the other on the landing.
The beach is at the bottom of the garden, just waiting to be enjoyed. Sunbathe on a sun lounger in the garden or go down to the sand; swim in the sea or walk along the coast. Or, at low tide, take your tackle and go fishing. Life here is slow, easy and picturesque, perfect for making memories. Just a few kilometres, there is a diving school and a sailing school open all year round.
Although you’ll enjoy the blissful feeling of being in the middle of nowhere, you are just minutes from a lively Breton village with shops, a supermarket, restaurants and a tourist office. And you’re ideally located for exploring the north Finistère coast. The best of both worlds!
This holiday home can comfortably accommodate one family or three couples. However, this property is not recommended for very young children.
