Towards the far end of Ile de Ré island off the west coast of France, this picturesque whitewashed beach house enjoys an exceptional location. The layout of the house and garden ensures total privacy, and a view over the pine forest that lies between the house and the sea.

The interior is elegant and welcoming. Each room features cosy furniture with a pop of colour, with openings that let the light flood in. An open-plan layout and sliding glass doors ensure seamless movement between spaces. Four en-suite double bedrooms are great for adults, while the three-bed children’s dorm room will delight younger guests with the promise of late-night whispering and holiday fun.

The garden is fully enclosed and the spacious decked terrace allows plenty of room for children to play while the adults relax. The practical facilities here make holiday living easy - from the covered veranda for al fresco meals in the shade, to the outdoor shower for rinsing sandy feet.

Both the village and the beach are a fifteen-minute walk from the house, meaning you can park up, relax and settle into holiday mode.
