Pool and Beach Costa Brava is a recently built villa. It is resolutely modern, with a pure, pared down décor and the latest equipment for optimum comfort. This includes air conditioning in every room, offering welcome respite from the Mediterranean heat.

The villa has been designed for families with children of all ages. The living area is bright, with minimalist furniture; a large dining table and cosy sofas in natural tones are perfect for together times with floor-to-ceiling windows providing a scenic backdrop. The open-plan galley kitchen is fully equipped making mealtimes a breeze.

This beachfront rental villa is ideal for families: there are plenty of toys for children, and teenagers will love hanging out in the TV lounge which has a video projector.

The five bedrooms are on the upper level, one of which is a children's bedroom with two sets of bunk beds. Extra beds can be added.

The parental suite has its own bathroom and a beautiful sea view, and the second bedroom also has an en-suite bathroom.

The other three bedrooms share a bathroom upstairs and can also use the downstairs bathroom which is very practical when returning from the beach with children.

Outside, a beautiful patio, pool and garden overlook the sea. Sit down, switch off and soak up the view. The well-maintained garden blends in perfectly with the surroundings. The mesmerizing view is the main attraction, with the infinity pool coming a close second. The coastal path below takes you to the various beaches dotted along the bay – some pebbly (bring shoes), some sandy – all with crystal-clear waters.

Take to the water in one of the canoes or kayaks provided at the house and head off to discover the surrounding coves. There is a diving club just two kilometres from the villa and more water sports activities in the neighbouring resorts. There are some good tourist excursions nearby too, on the French and Spanish sides of the coast.



The villa can comfortably accommodate two to three families or three couples.

Important: the pool at this villa does not have a security system as they are not required by Spanish law.

The beautiful Costa Brava beaches within walking distance

If there’s one thing Spain does well, it’s beach resorts! There are three of them within walkable distance from the villa along the coastal path. Three beaches are located 120, 550 and 750 metres away respectively. This part of the bay is sheltered from the wind and the clear waters are child friendly.

An outdoor active holiday in Catalonia: sea, sports and sun

This region is great for scuba diving and kayaking, and there are many clubs in the surrounding resorts.

The Cami de Ronda coastal path between Portbou and Port de la Selva offers walkers stunning views of the Mediterranean and access to some pretty coves on the way down to the Cap de Creus Nature Park. Head north up the French side of the coast towards the Cerbère-Banyuls national nature reserve. You're only 10km from the French border.

There is a golf course within 30 km from the villa, giving golfers the perfect opportunity to combine a golf with sightseeing in the nearby town.

The best places to visit in north Catalonia, Spain

If history, culture and old stone buildings are your thing, you’re in luck – the nearby medieval towns are definitely worth a visit. Don’t miss the Sant Pere de Rodes monastery, and the towns of Peralada (20km), Besalu (60km) and Celrà (70km). By that point, you’ll be close to Girona – see the city walls, Jewish quarter, cathedral and monastery.

If it’s a picturesque fishing village vibe you’re after, head to Cadaqués (30km) to admire the bohemian atmosphere and bougainvillea-clad white facades. Cadaqués has remained untouched by the urbanization of the Costa Brava. The artist Dali used to live here and there’s plenty of opportunity to learn about his life and works; visit his house in Port Lligat and the Gala Dali castle-museum in Pubol.
