Villa Playa y Sierra is a 400 m² villa with 4000 m² of sprawling grounds outside – it’s the very definition of spacious. But that's not all; it also oozes luxury on every level.

This spacious area sets the tone in terms of style. Villa Playa y Sierra is a modern holiday villa that looks out over to the Columbretes Islands. You can also see the islands on the horizon while you are out walking.

This beautiful holiday home has been recently refurbished to resolutely modern standards and a nod to traditional Spanish style. The layout, colours, materials, lighting, decorative objects and furniture, are all inspired by a sleek and clean-cut design. It has also been designed for the sunny climate of the Spanish coast. The villa is a refuge, offering a welcome respite from the hottest moments of the day. It is fully air-conditioned, and the cool colours are soothing and calm. The seven bedrooms are spread over different levels. The entertainment facilities are all on the same level, comprising a home cinema, a cellar area, and a gym.

The outdoor facilities are just as impressive and reflect the same level of luxury. With a swimming pool, jacuzzi, private tennis court, a playground with table football, a table tennis table and even a mini-sized golf course, there is something to keep guests of all ages happy and entertained. Also worth noting is that the swimming pool has a rigid cover for safety, which is rare in Spain as it is not required by law. Finally, a beautiful pergola houses an outdoor living and dining space with a bar area and a barbecue. Al fresco living in style!

The beaches

The region is primarily known for its beaches. The Castellon coastline is popular for its large, clean, sandy beaches, where long walks and bike rides are to be enjoyed without moderation! Water sports are easily available and there are plenty of facilities nearby for sailing, jet skiing, diving, and paddle boarding. The sea will play a big part in any holiday here. Boat trips on the Mediterranean leave from the marina in the village. We highly recommend a trip out to the Columbretes Islands.

Seaside resorts

The village and its harbour can be seen from villa and are lovely to stroll around taking in the sea air. It is lively yet peaceful, and packed with charm; from the beaches and the harbour, to the castle and the narrow streets and whitewashed houses of the old town. Pavement cafés, restaurants and tapas bars are on every corner. Live the true Spanish lifestyle of siestas at the villa and fiestas in one of the nicest seaside resorts on the Valencia coast !

Mountain hiking

Like the rest of the Spanish coast, this is a hilly area. Set between the sea and the mountains, your holiday villa faces out towards the Sierra de Irta mountain and the natural park of the same name. It is a paradise of preserved nature and was awarded Natural Park status in 2002. Discover the changing landscapes on foot or by mountain bike, breathing in the Mediterranean fragrance of pine and rosemary. Visit the remains of monuments including the Torre Ebri, the Xivert castle and the hermitage of Santa Llúcia i Sant Benet. The mountain range peaks at an altitude of 570 metres and the rocky relief plunges into the sea to form coves that are ideal for diving or snorkelling. Some of the coves can be tricky to get to, so it’s best to check before you go. However, for those who love the wilderness, the effort will be well rewarded.

The nearby amusement parks

For a family day out, the region has a number of theme parks such as Aquarama and the Oceanographic Museum, the largest aquarium in Europe. Closer to home, the Parrot Garden or Peniscola Castle and its gardens are lovely places to visit.
