Loire Valley Green Chateau is located on historic and fertile land that the owners carefully preserve. This property is part of a 30-hectare organic wine estate recognised for its global approach to sustainable development. The produce from the chateau’s vegetable garden is also organic and can be picked freely.
This beautiful château beckons visitors inside to discover its secrets and personality, and it doesn't disappoint. Children will love visiting the henhouse and playing on the swings, adults will enjoy the gardens and the freshly grown produce, and everybody will enjoy the heated pool. The chateau building and three annexes
This property is good for groups as it can sleep up to 27 people, which is a rare find!
There are eight bedrooms in the chateau itself and a further five bedrooms in the three annexe buildings that touch the main building so not far from it. All four buildings were recently renovated and provide the same level of luxury and style, and the top floor of the chateau and two of the three annexes are air-conditioned.
The property dates from the 16th century and its historic splendour is evident throughout in the old stone walls, timber ceilings, period flooring, woodwork, fireplaces, and vast dimensions. High ceilings create a sense of space and grandeur, with just enough refined chateau style without going overboard. The result is an authentic, warm and comfortable residence that is perfectly at home in the surrounding countryside.
The kitchen is an important hub for any family stay but especially for large groups. You will have everything you need here, with facilities designed for catering for large numbers, including two dishwashers and two fridges. Each annexe has its own small kitchen, so guests can organise themselves independently if they wish.

This rental chateau is particularly well-located among the Bourgeuil and Chinon vineyards and with plenty of stunning castles nearby, such as those in Montsoreau, Azay Le Rideau, Villandry, Langeais, Ussé, and Chinon. Other popular attractions nearby include Fontevraud Abbey – where the relics of William the Lionheart lie; the illustrious Cadre Noir military horse academy in Saumur – see a performance there if you can; and the troglodyte cellars and mushroom farms that are specific to the region. For a fun family day out, head to the Bioparc zoo in Doué la Fontaine, reputed for the quality of its natural environment and its animals.
