Luxury family holidays, things to see and do nearby :

This property is in the heart of the Var region. Discover the region by the coast or inland and enjoy the delicious Mediterranean cuisine of Provence and the Côte d'Azur, reputed for its health benefits.

Local food and wine tourism

The fresh, seasonal products of Provence and the Mediterranean region abound in many forms and flavours.
Aioli, bouillabaisse, aubergine caviar, pissaladière, ratatouille, pistou soup, and tapenade are among the most well-known local products that bring out the best of the sea and the land, finished off by the famous herbs of Provence and authentic olive oil. For a sweet treat, try the "Tropézienne" tart.
This is France, so fine wine is also in plentiful supply. This region produces three appellations: Côtes de Provence, Coteaux d'Aix en Provence, and Coteaux Varois en Provence. Provence Côte d'Azur is great for a spot of wine tourism. Vineyards have made up landscape here since the Antique era, and were even the first to appear in the history of France. Visit the wine makers and ask for advice for pairing the Provencal and Mediterranean specialities with their recognised virtues.

South of France beaches and natural parks

Provence Luxury Haven is ideally located between land and sea. Inland, there are plenty of natural parks to explore: pick from the Maures (less than an hour), Verdon (1 hour), Préalpes d'Azur (1.5 hours) and Luberon (two hours). Hikers and nature lovers are in for a treat, and the area is dotted with quaint villages such as Flayosc, Tourtour, Castellane, and Fayence.
Down on the coast, the seaside towns of Fréjus, Saint-Raphaël, Sainte-Maxime and Saint-Tropez line the Mediterranean coastline and have all sort of water-based activities on offer.

Visit Draguignan

Draguignan is a great town to visit if you’re in the region. It is surrounded by hills and stands out by its Provencal charm. It is a thriving town with lots of beautiful colourful streets, museums and monuments.
