It’s located in a calm, residential area, 1.5 kilometres away from a beach or cove which is very popular despite it being a shingle beach. From this beach, you can talk a walk along the coastal path, where you can also enjoy a dip in the many coves. You can also enjoy seafood and fish breakfasts or dinners on the patio. The beaches 

Of course, seaside fun comes first: relaxing on the many beaches, Sa Tuna, Sa Riera, Aiguafreda or even Platja Fonda to name the closest. A little further away, a dozen kilometres away, Aiguablava is a fine sandy beach which is highly recommended for families because of its shallow and clear waters and the services it offers, restaurants, access for people with reduced mobility, leisure facilities. The best thing is to access it via the coastal path from Aiguafreda. You can also find a diving centre. 

Because Costa Brava, 220 kilometres long and boasting three open natural reserves, is a paradise for diving. The archipelagos are unmissable spots: Medes Islands and Formigues Islands among others. You can also go snorkelling from the beaches.

Picturesque villages that you must visit

Along the coast, there is a succession of small fishing towns and villages to explore: Begur, Tamariu, Palafrugell, Palamos... Begur has a large number or historical remains: a medieval château, colonial Indian style houses, defensive towers... The coastal path, the Camino de Ronda brings you between these squares without the sea leaving your sight.

Inland of the Baix Empordà is definitely worth a visit too: a multitude of small picturesque villages and towns are waiting to be discovered with their cobbled streets, their medieval walls, their stone houses and religious buildings. Among others, a reasonable distance away from your Costa Brava rental, Pals, Peratallada, Monells, Cruilles, la Bisbal D'Emporda, Ullastret, Paluau-Sator... In pals, an 18 hole golf course allows you to mix things up. 

An ideal destination for hiking enthusiasts

Catalonia is a paradise for hikers, along the Ronda paths on the coast or even inland in the numerous natural parks, between the landscapes of the sea and the mountains, Montgrí mountain range, the Empordà swamps, the Gavarres and Ardenya mountain ranges...
