“Les Portes de Saint-Jean” is a beautiful holiday rental in the Basque Country.
Its spaciousness, immaculate decoration and very good quality materials give this property charm and elegance in a calm and shaded setting. The perfectly maintained park has a heated swimming pool and a jacuzzi. Its hundred year old trees and beds of multicoloured hydrangeas will shelter you from prying eyes and guarantee your tranquillity.
But “Les Portes de Saint-Jean" is not isolated! The small Ciboure harbour and the Nivelle river which separates Ciboure from Saint-Jean-de-Luz is 1500 metres away and can easily be reached on foot. You can visit beautiful beaches like Socoa and Ciboure which are a short bike ride away (2.5km) on the paths through the Bordagain hills. It will give you the opportunity to discover the sublime view of the beaches of the Basque Corniche and the Socoa Fort !
This beautiful rental villa can accommodate up to six people under the best conditions on around 550m².

The Basque coast is a region renowned for surfing, you will find multiple spots for practising your favourite sport. If you would like to take some lessons, there are several schools or coaches in Saint-Jean-de-Luz to choose from.
Relaxing thalassotherapy session: Two centres near the large beach are waiting for your in Saint-Jean-de-Luz. You can also visit Saint-Sébastien, on the Spanish coast. The Perla thelassotherapy centre which looks directly on the Concha Bay is particularly pleasant.
Visits to Biarritz, Bayonne and Saint-Sébastien are a must whether you want to stroll around or do some shopping.
A detour to the small Hondarribia Spanish harbour is also essential. This old fishing village with its characteristic facades allow you to try some tapas “del Mar”.
Finally, if you prefer mountains and green landscapes, a small trip will give you a good idea. Hop over the boarder and take the N121 to the village of Bera. You can stop off here, take the opportunity to visit the village and discover Basque food. Then take the NA1310 to Cold'Ibardin. You can then head back down towards Ascains and if it’s a clear day you can enjoy the spectacular view ranging across the entire French Basque coast below.
