The ground floor is a single open-plan space with a bright and spacious living room that leads out onto the terrace. It also comprises a dining area and two lounges, one on either side. One has a fireplace and the other a flat screen TV. The style is simple, inviting and easy-going. Up-to-the-minute designer furniture is blended with older pieces for an authentic feel, with nautical features dotted throughout for a trendy surf vibe. Beaches

The Basque Country is known as the ultimate surf spot that will delight surfers of all levels. One of the nearest beaches to the villa is Parlementia, a beach in between Bidart and Guéthary known for its idyllic setting and its wild side.

Seaside villages

Several seaside resorts such as Anglet, Guéthary, Bidart and Ciboure line the coast. These lovely little villages on the Atlantic coast have retained their traditional and wild side that appeals to travellers who want an authentic experience. Moving inland, Sare and Espelette should be on your to-do list.

Traditional Basque sports

The Basque Country has its own emblematic sports. Try your hand at Basque pelota or spectate at an encierro bull run.

Family activities

This region is packed with things to keep the whole family happy. Hike along the coastline mountain paths for fabulous views and an uplifting nature fix. For something more adventurous, try parasailing (in Hendaye) or paragliding. There is also a wide range of tennis courts and golf courses in the region.
