Villa Charming Brittany – Nice holiday home for rent with a sea view

Villa Charming Brittany is a lovely villa with a sea view. With an original interior architecture and warm decoration, it has undergone a quality renovation. The old-world charm has been kept and a light touch of the modern has been added. It’s a definite family house where everything has been designed for the pleasure of the little ones and the grownups.

A rental for families

Inside, the colours match those found outside, the green of the countryside and the blue of the sea, so that they become one, particularly in the lounge. The many windows and the large panoramic window reinforce this feeling. Some warm colours like a ray of sunshine coming in provide warmth and cheerfulness. The fireplace also strongly contributes to this friendly atmosphere.

A feeling of togetherness can be found in the dining room which is also adorned with a fireplace. A long, wood dining table for ten people, positioned facing the panoramic view over the garden is perfect for sharing good times with your family. In the extension, the kitchen is equipped with an induction range with double oven. "Villa Charming Brittany" is a rental designed for family holidays.

The bedrooms are spread out over two floors.

A beautiful double room is accessible from the lounge via an independent staircase. It offers a sea view and has its own bathroom with an Italian shower and toilet.

The other end of the house is accessible via a second staircase and is primarily made up of an area for children. There are two bedrooms with two bunk beds in one and 1 1.40m bed in the other. A bathroom with a bath and a playroom complete this dedicated area.

Finally, on the same side, on the second floor, there are two double bedrooms and a bathroom with a shower and toilet.

A beautiful surrounding nature

This holiday home with an original design is located in a very beautiful setting, a region with untouched and authentic nature, between the Morlaix bay and the Trébeurden bay. It is located on the outskirts of a small, typically Breton, village which you can reach on foot and where you will find all amenities as well as a large number of activities and entertainment. Market on Tuesday mornings, shanty concerts, Breton dances, Sea Festival at the start of August, painting exhibitions, during the day or evening, there’s something for everyone.

This lovely family holiday house comfortably accommodates two families or three couples.

Charming villa close to the beach in Brittany, things to see and do nearby:

Between the Pointe de Primel and Trébeurden, miles of intricate coastline with exceptional views are waiting to be discovered and inland is just a picturesque, with loads of chapels, manors, crosses and other menhirs.

Here are the main points of interest in the region.

The beaches in North Brittany

A beautiful sandy beach, the Saint-Jean-du-Doigt beach, is located 600 metres away from the villa. It’s a very family friendly beach which is sometimes also frequented by surfers, depending on the wind. The Primel-Trégastel at the other end is located around 4 kilometres away, it’s a very touristy beach but peaceful too and accessible to people with reduced mobility. Along the 20 kilometres of coastline in the area, you can choose between sandy beaches or rocky coves.

Water sports

There’s a sailing school 6 kilometres away. From the Jardin des Mers for the little ones to catamaran, sailing dinghy and windsurfing courses there’s no shortage of options. You can also practice diving in waters rich in flora and fauna. There’s also a club 6 kilometres away.

Typical villages

Plougasnou for its market town and its fishing port and harbour; Locquirec (10km), for its harbour, its houses and its beaches; Carantec and Île Callot; Morlaix for its harbour, its historic district and its viaduct... in pink granite.

The Pink Granite coast

It is very well known for its beauty and its brown verging on pink colour rocks under the effect of the sea mist, and its exceptional panoramas. It extends over 30 kilometres, between Perros-Guirec and Trébeurden. By walking along the GR34 or “path of the customs officers” (sentier des douaniers) or even from the sea, in a kayak, paddleboard or sailing, the countryside is spectacular, the nature is wild, and that’s exactly what you come to Brittany for! Inland, Lannion is worth a visit.

The local speciality : The Crêpes !

An integral part of family holidays in Brittany is Brittany cooking and the pleasure of crêpes for the little ones. A very well-known creperie is just one kilometre away from the villa. For the grownups, you will find sea food and fish for sale, in particular at the Diben harbour.

Getting to your house close to the Côtes d’Armor:

- Morlaix station 20km away
- Brest-Bretagne airport 70km away
- Saint-Brieuc station 100km away
