Visit pretty villages on the Costa Brava – The Costa Brava is a great holiday destination in the north-east tip of Spain. Drive north towards Girona and the French border. Expect romantic creeks and coves along the coast, sandy beaches and the picturesque seaside towns of Llafranc, Tamariu, and Aiguablava. Pack your swimming gear and snorkel and stop off at a beach along the way to cool down. The fishing town of Begur has the best of both worlds, with three sandy beaches and easy access to inland medieval villages.
Pals – stone streets, archways, the landmark Torre de las Horas (Tower of the Hours) built in the Middle Ages. Pals likes a good festival and there’s often something going on.
